A formal drawing room held in soft green panelling, where an original marble fireplace, a portrait and bespoke bookcases are allowed to do the talking.
The brief was to honour the building’s history while making it work for contemporary family life. We reworked the plan around the principal rooms, drawing daylight deeper into the house and grounding each space in a restrained, tactile palette.
Bespoke joinery, natural stone and softly aged metals were chosen to wear gracefully — interiors made to settle in over decades, not seasons.
